Undergraduate Application Deadlines
George Mason University highly encourages you to submit your application as early as possible. Applications for the 2008 Spring and Fall semesters may be submitted starting September 1, 2007. The university reserves the right to close applications before published deadlines, if necessary.

| Students admitted for the fall semester are allowed to register for summer classes. |
Students who apply for early action or scholarship consideration must submit the admission application as well as all supporting documentation (e.g., transcripts, test scores, letters of recommendation) by the published deadlines.
Notification of Admission Decisions
Freshmen
Students who have submitted a complete application by the Early Action deadline of November 1 will be notified of the admissions decision after December 15. All other applicants who submit completed applications by January 15 will receive notification by April 1.
Transfers
Notification letters will be sent May 1, 2008. Other letters will be sent 6-8 weeks after a completed application has been received from then on.
